Reception is shared by Caroline, Carmel and Megan.
Recruited to the Calderwood Family Clinic team in May 2012, Caroline is from Dublin and brings many years of experience as P.A./Secretary/Receptionist to the Practice. Caroline has worked for a major packaging specialist to the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Software Industries and recently for a leading Diagnostic Imaging Company. Caroline studied Health Administration in Whitehall college of further Education and was awarded a Diploma in Health Administration and Business Studies. Caroline also has a Higher Diploma in Applied Biology and Science. As one of our first points of contact either in person or on the phone, you will be met by a friendly and caring welcome which will carry on throughout your involvement with the practice. Caroline is currently studying counseling skills and has an interest in walking and cycling.
Recruited to the Calderwood Family Clinic in May 2012, Carmel lives locally and as a past pupil of Maryfield College will be re-tracing her school day footsteps on her walk to work. Carmel brings a wide range of experience to the role, having worked in Beaumont Hospital for 21 years providing administrative support to many departments. She understands the importance of treating patients and their families in a respectful, caring and confidential manner. Carmel recognizes that good communication is an essential requirement when it comes to customer/patient care, that is, the ability to listen carefully and deliver messages in a clear and concise manner. She is empathetic and discreet and looks forward to providing you with a professional and friendly service when you walk through the door.
Megan joined the Calderwood Family Clinic team in September 2014 as an intern. Megan is from Dublin and brings experience in administration in the health sector. Following successful completion of her internship, Megan joined the team on a full time basis. She has decided to further her education in the area and has completed a Certificate in Medical Administration through the ICGP. Megan is always friendly, approachable, calm and professional. She has an excellent relationship with our patients and looks forward to building on this. She is a GAA fanatic and Liverpool supporter.
